The Rotating Filter Mount is supplied with a retaining ring, which accommodates circular filters of up to 2mm thickness - a standard size for circular filters. 3mm thick filters can be used as well, but there will be no residual thread to fit a lens cap or lens hood. This rotating mount is mainly used with filters such as polarisers and graduated filters, to allow them to be easily rotated while in use. To use the Rotating Filter Mount, simply screw the male thread of the mount into the thread of your camera lens like you would a normal circular filter. Then screw the filter that you want to rotate into the female thread of the rotating mount. Add the supplied retaining ring to secure your filter into the mount.
